Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG) is a large Indian conglomerate with activities in education, healthcare, and research. Through its MEMG Family Office, led by chairman Dr. Ranjan Pai, it operates as a venture capital investor. The family office, founded in 2016, has a sector-agnostic approach, with investments in fields like healthtech, e-commerce, edtech, and real estate. MEMG also co-managed a venture fund, MEMG CDC Ventures, with British International Investment (formerly CDC Group), which focused on healthcare services in Africa and South Asia.
