Mining Innovation Commercialization Accelerator

A pan-Canadian initiative designed to accelerate the development and commercialization of innovative technologies to enhance the productivity and sustainability of the mining sector. Managed by the Centre for Excellence in Mining Innovation (CEMI), MICA is a national network funded by the Government of Canada's Strategic Innovation Fund and private partners, with a total initiative value of over $280 million. It provides funding for late-stage, high-impact mining technologies through calls for proposals.
