MC Global Innovation (MCGI) is the corporate venture capital (CVC) arm of Mitsubishi Corporation. Established in 2025, it is the company's first group-wide CVC initiative, designed to accelerate collaboration with startups and uncover new business opportunities. MCGI makes flexible investments across a broad range of sectors and startup lifecycles, from seed to later stages, with a particular focus on early-stage companies. It operates with capital from Mitsubishi Corporation's balance sheet and builds upon previous startup investments made by the corporation's individual business groups.
