Monozukuri Ventures

Monozukuri Ventures is a venture capital firm based in Japan and North America specializing in pre-seed, seed, and early-stage hard-tech startups. The firm invests in companies in the US, Canada, and Japan across various sectors including healthcare, industrial IoT, climate tech, AI, robotics, and space tech. In addition to financial investment, Monozukuri Ventures provides dedicated support for hardware prototyping, mass production, and business development. The firm was established through the merger of Kyoto-based Darma Tech Labs and New York-based FabFoundry. It launched its first hardware-focused VC fund in 2017 and a second fund in 2021 to expand its focus to manufacturing tech companies.
