Motier is the family holding company of the Moulin family, established in 2005, which owns the Galeries Lafayette Group, La Redoute, and a significant stake in Carrefour. Its investment activities are conducted through its venture capital arm, Motier Ventures, which was founded in 2021. Motier Ventures functions as a family office and corporate venture capital firm, focusing on early-stage investments (Seed and Series A) in sectors such as the future of commerce, fintech, creative technologies, gaming, and cybersecurity.
