The organization was founded in 2015 by UnternehmerTUM GmbH, Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship gGmbH, and Start2 Group GmbH. It runs programs such as AI+MUNICH, which provides equity-free prototype funding of up to €25,000 to early-stage AI startups, backed by German federal ministries. The entity facilitates high-level networking and deal-making through events, dialogues, and workshops.
