NBIM manages the Government Pension Fund Global (GPFG) and Norway's Foreign Exchange Reserves (FXR) . The fund is invested exclusively outside Norway in order to protect the mainland economy . NBIM aims to achieve the highest possible return while maintaining safety, efficiency, responsibility, and transparency .
