NorthX Climate Tech

NorthX Climate Tech, formerly known as the B.C. Centre for Innovation and Clean Energy (CICE), is an independent, not-for-profit corporation that funds the development, demonstration, and scaling of clean energy technologies. It was established in 2021 with a C$105 million fund from the Government of British Columbia and Shell Canada. The organization provides non-dilutive funding and catalytic investments to innovators in sectors such as battery technology, energy storage, carbon management, low-carbon hydrogen, and bio or synthetic fuels to accelerate decarbonization.
