Novax is the investment arm of the Axel Johnson group, acting as an active, long-term partner for growth companies. It invests in small and medium-sized enterprises with a focus on sectors including Preventive Health, Technical Security, and Food of the Future. In 2022, the parent company Axel Johnson launched the "FoodBridge" initiative to invest in early-stage food tech companies, which was later integrated into Novax in 2024 to consolidate investment activities in the food sector. FoodBridge specifically targets early-stage companies with the potential to create a more sustainable food system.
