Ocean Visions

Ocean Visions is a non-profit organization that facilitates multisector collaborations to catalyze innovation at the intersection of the ocean and climate crises. The organization works with research institutions, the private sector, and public-interest organizations to advance responsible and effective ocean-based climate solutions, focusing on stabilizing the climate and restoring ocean health. Their strategy involves four main pillars: reducing CO2 emissions, removing existing CO2 pollution (marine carbon dioxide removal - mCDR), repairing damaged marine ecosystems, and reaching a global community to develop these solutions. A key initiative is the Ocean Visions Launchpad program, which supports innovators and startups by providing expert scientific and engineering advice to help optimize their technologies and understand environmental impacts.
