Oxigênio Aceleradora
Overview
Oxigênio Aceleradora is the startup accelerator of Porto Seguro, a large Brazilian insurance company. Founded in 2015, it was created to foster entrepreneurship and innovation by connecting startups with Porto's business units. The program, based in São Paulo, Brazil, focuses on startups in sectors such as insurance, finance, and health technology. Initially, the accelerator invested $50,000 per company, but later transitioned to an equity-free model focused on generating business and pilot projects between the startups and Porto. The program is managed in partnership with Liga Ventures and has a connection with the Plug and Play Tech Center in Silicon Valley.
