Piramal Alternatives is the fund management and institutional capital provider arm of the Piramal Group. It offers tailored capital solutions, including pure credit and structured investments, to mid-market companies in India to support business transformation, turnarounds, and growth. The firm manages several flagship funds, such as the India Resurgence Fund (a joint venture with Bain Capital), the Piramal Performing Credit Fund, the Hybrid Growth Private Equity Fund, and the India Access Fund (a private equity fund of funds). It also acts as a Limited Partner (LP) by investing in other Indian fund managers through its India Access Fund.
