Purdue Foundry
Overview
Purdue Foundry is an entrepreneurship and commercialization hub that functions as a startup accelerator for Purdue University faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Managed by the Purdue Research Foundation, it provides resources such as mentoring, funding, business plan guidance, and grant writing to help innovators create and launch new ventures. In 2023, the Purdue Foundry became part of a larger, unified network called Purdue Innovates, and is now also referred to as the Purdue Innovates Startup Foundry. The organization makes early-stage investments, often through pitch competitions like the Black and Gold Awards, with investment amounts ranging from $25,000 to $100,000.
