Overview
Qualcomm China Holdings is the Chinese investment vehicle for Qualcomm Incorporated, a multinational corporation that creates semiconductors, software, and services related to wireless technology. Its investment activities are managed by Qualcomm Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Qualcomm. Qualcomm Ventures China focuses on investments in seed-stage, early-stage, and later-stage companies operating in sectors including artificial intelligence, autonomous cars, cloud technology, the Internet of Things (IoT), and mobile. In 2014, Qualcomm committed to invest up to $150 million in Chinese startups.
