Rafael Development Corporation (RDC) is the corporate venture capital and technology transfer arm of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, established in 1993 as a joint venture with Elron Electronic Industries. Its primary business is to commercialize high-value civilian technologies, often derived from defense technologies, by investing in early-stage companies. The firm invests in sectors including communications, agriculture, information technology, medical devices, cybersecurity, and enterprise software, typically at the Seed and Series A stages.
