RegenMed Engine

The RegenMed Engine is a regional innovation ecosystem funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to accelerate the commercialization of regenerative medicine technologies, stimulate economic growth, and develop a skilled workforce. Led by the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM) in partnership with the RegenMed Development Organization (ReMDO) and other academic institutions, it provides resources and grants to companies to bridge the gap between research and market-ready products. The initiative aims to establish the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina as a global hub for the regenerative medicine industry.
