Regione del Veneto

Regione del Veneto is the regional government of the Veneto region in Italy. It does not operate as a traditional investment fund but rather as a public body that provides financial support to businesses to foster economic development within the region. This is achieved through various programs, often co-financed by European Union funds (like the ERDF), which offer non-repayable grants, subsidized loans, and guarantees. The region's objectives include strengthening research and innovation, promoting digitalization, attracting foreign investment, and supporting startups and SMEs. It manages these financial instruments through its in-house financial company, Veneto Sviluppo S.p.A., and its subsidiary Veneto Innovazione S.p.A.
