Overview
Rocky Point Ventures was founded in 2006 as a private family office in Austin, Texas . Traditionally, RPV has focused on early-stage investing in technology and biotechnology start-ups . Although RPV continues to make these types of investments, they have also begun to seek buyout opportunities . As opposed to private equity funds, RPV is an active investor focusing on acquisitions of lower-middle market businesses in the Texas and Southeast regions .
