Sabancı Climate Ventures

Sabancı Climate Ventures is the US-based corporate venture capital (CVC) arm of Sabancı Climate Technologies, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Turkish conglomerate Sabancı Holding. Established in 2022, the firm has a $200 million fund to invest in startups and venture capital funds across the U.S. and Europe that are pioneering future energy and climate technologies. Its investment focus includes areas such as wind and fusion energy, geothermal, grid management, ESG software, carbon accounting, energy storage, and battery technology. The firm acts as both a direct investor in companies (from pre-seed to Series C) and as a Limited Partner (LP) in other specialized VC funds. Initial check sizes for direct investments typically range from $500,000 to $2 million.
