The Salesforce Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Salesforce, established on a 1-1-1 model of integrated philanthropy, which dedicates 1% of the company's equity, product, and employee time to the community. It operates as a private 501(c)(3) foundation, providing strategic grants primarily focused on education and workforce development to equip young people with skills and opportunities. The foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals and makes grants on an invitation-only basis. Since its inception, it has contributed to over $841 million in grants.
