Seedstars Africa Ventures

Seedstars Africa Ventures is an early-stage venture capital fund investing in high-growth, tech-enabled companies active across Sub-Saharan Africa. The fund was created in partnership with Seedstars, an emerging markets accelerator, and LBO France, a multi-specialist investment platform. It targets Seed and Series A rounds and is sector-agnostic, focusing on businesses that address basic needs and improve efficiency. The fund, known as Seedstars Africa Ventures I, has a target size of $80 million and announced a first close of $42 million in December 2024. The fund is anchored by and part of LBO France.
