Overview
Shinhan Asset Management is the asset management subsidiary of Shinhan Financial Group, one of the largest financial groups in South Korea. The firm provides a wide range of investment products and services to institutional and retail clients, including equity, fixed income, alternative investments, and money market funds. Its investment strategies cover various sectors such as real estate, infrastructure, private equity, and credit. The firm was established in 1996 and was previously a joint venture with BNP Paribas before becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shinhan Financial Group in 2021. In 2022, it merged with Shinhan Alternative Investment Management.
