Silicon Catalyst

Silicon Catalyst is an incubator and accelerator founded in 2014 that is exclusively focused on early-stage semiconductor startups. It provides a 24-month incubation program, mentorship, and access to an ecosystem of in-kind partners (including TSMC, Synopsys, and Arm) to reduce development costs. The firm invests in its portfolio companies through its associated funding arms, Silicon Catalyst Angels (founded in 2019) and Silicon Catalyst Ventures (launched in 2024). Its investment focus includes semiconductors, ICs, IP, photonics, MEMS, sensors, materials, quantum computing, and life sciences. Silicon Catalyst Ventures was launched with the goal of deploying US$10M to US$20M in its first series in 2024.
