SouthUp Ventures
Overview
SouthUp Ventures is a non-profit, social-impact technology incubator and accelerator that supports early-stage startups in the Gaza Envelope and Western Negev region of Israel. It aims to strengthen the local economy through technological innovation by providing startups with mentorship, services, and pre-seed investments. The program supports companies in sectors including AgroTech, FoodTech, Medical, CleanTech, and IoT. In 2024, it was announced that a new regional impact fund, Ofir-SouthUp Ventures, was being established by the incubator to further invest in pre-seed, seed, and Series A companies in the region. SouthUp operates in partnership with entities like the Israel Innovation Authority.
