Overview

STOA is an impact investment fund created in 2017 by Caisse des Dépôts (CDC) and Agence Française de Développement (AFD). It is dedicated to financing and supporting the development of sustainable and resilient infrastructure projects in emerging and developing countries across Africa, Latin America, and Asia. The fund focuses on key sectors including energy, telecommunications, transport and logistics, and the environment, with a strong emphasis on projects that have a climate co-benefit. STOA acts as a long-term minority investor in greenfield projects.
