Social Venture Network
Overview
Social Venture Network (SVN), formerly known as Social Venture Circle, is a non-profit membership network of entrepreneurs, impact investors, and business leaders. Founded in 1987, the organization is committed to building a just and sustainable world through business, focusing on a "triple bottom line" of people, planet, and profit. The network facilitates connections, provides resources, and enables collaboration to support the growth of socially responsible enterprises. In 2018, Social Venture Network merged with Investors' Circle to form Social Venture Circle, which then merged with the American Sustainable Business Council in 2022 to become the American Sustainable Business Network. The organization has since reverted to its original name, Social Venture Network. It has facilitated hundreds of millions of dollars in investments into social ventures.
