SXSW Pitch is a premier startup showcase held annually at the SXSW Conference & Festivals in Austin, Texas. The event features innovative technology companies from around the world pitching to a panel of industry experts, media, venture capitalists, and angel investors. While it facilitates connections that lead to funding, SXSW Pitch itself awards prizes, including cash and services, rather than making direct equity investments. Since 2009, participating companies have collectively raised over $23.2 billion in funding after presenting at the event.
