TheFamily is a Paris-based startup accelerator and educational platform founded in 2013 by Alice Zagury, Nicolas Colin, and Oussama Ammar. It operates a fellowship model, providing education, mentorship, resources, and network access to early-stage startups in exchange for a 5% equity stake. Rather than focusing on large, upfront cash investments, its model is built on being a long-term strategic partner. The firm has supported over 700 startups since its inception. Since 2022, the company has been involved in a significant legal dispute with co-founder Oussama Ammar, who left in late 2021, over allegations of embezzlement.
