Theodorus

Theodorus is a venture capital firm created in 2003 that invests in early-stage projects, primarily spin-offs from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). It focuses on seed and early-stage funding for companies in the Biotech, MedTech, Digital, and Engineering sectors with proprietary technologies. The firm has managed four funds and has a priority access to R&D outcomes from ULB, but also invests in projects outside the university. As of late 2024, the firm has rebranded to Seido Capital and relocated its headquarters to Montréal, Canada, to focus on the North American life sciences market with its fifth fund. Theodorus has invested in over 40 companies and has more than €70 million under management.
