San Diego Angel Conference
Overview
The San Diego Angel Conference (SDAC) is an annual event-based program that activates and educates accredited angel investors by connecting them with early-stage companies seeking seed funding. Presented by local universities like the University of San Diego and San Diego State University, the program facilitates the formation of a new investment fund each year, pooled by participating angel investors. Through a series of workshops and events, the investors collectively evaluate applicants and select one or more winners to receive investment at a final pitch competition. The minimum investment for an angel investor to participate in the fund is $7,000. Since its inception in 2019, the program has invested over $4.8 million in 17 startups as of December 2023.
