Weldon Foundation, Inc.

Weldon Foundation is a private, not-for-profit foundation that functions as a venture capital investment firm and grant-making organization. Based in the Jacksonville/Fernandina Beach area of Florida, it was founded in 1996. The foundation makes direct investments in companies, such as its Series A participation in Ponce De Leon Health, a company led by Tom Weldon, who is also an officer of the foundation. In addition to its investment activities, the foundation provides grants in areas including education, health, biomedicine, and human services.
