Transylvania Angels Network

Transylvania Angels Network (T.A.N.) is an angel investor group founded in 2018 and based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. It operates as a spin-off brand of the non-profit organization Cluj Startups. The network's primary purpose is to facilitate connections and investments between its members and early-stage technology startups, primarily in Romania. T.A.N. is not an investment fund; instead, each member individually decides on their participation in funding rounds. The network supports its members by scouting opportunities, providing education on angel investing, and organizing monthly pitch events. It focuses on startups from pre-revenue stages to those with established traction. Since its inception, its members have invested over €3.5 million in more than 30 companies.
