Tresmares Capital

Tresmares Capital is an alternative asset manager, founded in 2020, that provides private equity and private debt solutions to high-growth small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and private equity managers. Originally established in Spain, the firm has expanded with offices in London and operates in Spain, the UK, and Portugal. In March 2025, Banco Santander, which was an early backer, acquired an 89.9% stake in the firm, though Tresmares remains independently managed. The firm is sector-agnostic, targeting companies with EBITDA typically between €1 million and €7 million. As of early 2025, it had approximately €3.2 billion in commitments and plans to launch new fund-of-funds and fund financing divisions.
