Overview
The Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CCEI) was established in 2007 at the University of Connecticut to foster a culture of entrepreneurship through educational programs, mentorship, and venture support. It is closely associated with the UConn Innovation Fund, a venture fund established in 2016 in partnership with Connecticut Innovations and Webster Bank. The fund provides investments of up to $100,000 to early-stage companies founded by UConn students, faculty, or alumni.
