Overview
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) is a central pillar of the UK government's Levelling Up agenda, providing funding for local investment across the UK. It is the domestic replacement for the European Structural and Investment Programme (ESIF). The fund aims to build pride in place and increase life chances by investing in three priorities: communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills. Funding is allocated to lead local authorities who are responsible for developing investment plans and delivering the fund in their areas.
