U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities

A not-for-profit public charity established in 2006 at the request of the U.S. and Canadian governments. The Endowment works with public and private partners to advance change for the health and vitality of the nation's working forests and forest-reliant communities. While historically a grant-making organization, it launched an impact investing program to make program-related investments, equity investments, and mission-related investments that generate a positive social and environmental impact alongside a financial return.
