Variv Capital is a venture capital firm founded in 2012, based in Mexico City, Mexico. The firm focuses on early-stage technology companies in Latin America, with a particular emphasis on sectors like fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, and logistics. Variv developed a hybrid model, operating as both a traditional venture capital investor and a company builder. The firm's first fund, VARIV I, began investing in 2013, followed by VARIV II in 2015. In 2019, the fund management firm was rebranded to Cometa, while the founders continue to operate the holding company VARIV.
