Vireo Ventures

Vireo Ventures is a German early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2020, based in Berlin. It specializes in pre-seed and seed stage investments in European technology startups that are driving the energy and mobility sectors. The firm focuses on companies that provide digital, hardware-enabled, and software-driven solutions to accelerate electrification and decarbonization. Key investment areas include energy supply, distribution and storage, and energy usage across e-mobility, real estate, and industrial applications. Their first fund, the Vireo Electrification Fund I, closed at €50 million in September 2025. Vireo Ventures is also a limited partner in other funds.
