VTB Capital Investment Management

VTB Capital Investment Management is the asset management and investment division of VTB Capital, the investment banking arm of Russia's state-owned VTB Group. The firm offers a wide range of investment solutions, including the management of mutual funds, hedge funds, discretionary managed accounts, venture capital, and private equity. Its investment focus is primarily on Russia and the CIS region, covering equities, fixed income, real estate, and venture capital. The firm's parent company, VTB Group, and its subsidiaries have been subject to international sanctions, which led to the UK-based arm, VTB Capital plc, entering administration in 2022. The Moscow-based entity continues to operate. In June 2021, it was reported to be the largest Russian asset manager with over US $50 billion in assets under management.
