Women's World Banking Asset Management (WAM) is the for-profit asset management arm of Women's World Banking, a global non-profit. WAM invests in emerging market financial service providers and fintech companies that serve low-income women, aiming to close the gender gap in financial inclusion while demonstrating the business case for gender-lens investing. It makes direct minority equity or quasi-equity investments and provides technical assistance to help portfolio companies grow.
