YGG SEA

YGG SEA (Yield Guild Games Southeast Asia) is the first sub-decentralized autonomous organization (subDAO) of Yield Guild Games, focused on the Southeast Asian market. It operates as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) to acquire and manage non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for use in the metaverse and play-to-earn (P2E) games. The organization has a dual mandate: to invest in locally developed P2E games and game assets, and to operate a gaming guild that onboards players ('scholars') by lending them these assets. In late 2021, YGG SEA raised $15 million across two private funding rounds to boost P2E gaming adoption and fund its investment and operational activities in the region.
