Zcash Community Grants is a program that funds independent teams and developers to contribute to the Zcash ecosystem. The program is managed by a five-person committee elected by the Zcash community and operates as a technical advisory committee within the Zcash Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity that administers and disburses the funds. Funding for the grants comes from a percentage of the Zcash mining rewards as stipulated by the community in ZIP-1014.
