Zcash Community Grants
Overview
Zcash Community Grants is a program that funds independent teams and developers to contribute to the Zcash ecosystem. Its goal is to advance the usability, security, privacy, and adoption of Zcash for the public good. The program is managed by a five-person committee elected by the Zcash community and operates as a technical advisory committee within the Zcash Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity that administers and disburses the funds. Funding for the grants comes from a percentage of the Zcash mining rewards as stipulated by the community in ZIP-1014.
