Backbone Angels is a collective of women in tech who are united around the same goal: funding—and empowering—founders, businesses, and ideas that are often overlooked . Since March 2021, they have backed over 42 companies and deployed over $2.3M USD in capital to women founders . Backbone Angels invests in women and non-binary founders with a focus on investments in Black, Indigenous, and Women of Colour-led companies .
