Bascom Ventures

Bascom Ventures is a venture capital fund for University of Wisconsin alumni and friends, operating under the parent organization Alumni Ventures. The fund's strategy is to build a diversified portfolio by co-investing in 20-30 companies across various sectors, stages (from seed to pre-IPO), and geographies, often alongside established VC firms. It is a follow-on investor and does not lead investment rounds. While it often invests in companies with a connection to the University of Wisconsin, this is not an exclusive requirement.
