BRAVE1

BRAVE1 is a Ukrainian government-led defense technology cluster launched on April 26, 2023. It functions as a coordination platform to unite and support developers, the military, government agencies, and investors to accelerate the creation and deployment of military technology solutions. The cluster was founded by six key government institutions: the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Defence, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Strategic Industries, and the Ministry of Economy. BRAVE1's primary function is to provide non-dilutive grants from the Ukrainian state budget to developers of defense technologies, with a focus on areas like UAVs, ground robotic systems, electronic warfare, and AI.
