It was founded as a measure to support the EU Regulation on Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas. The partnership provides financial support, in the form of grants, to projects that improve responsible mining practices and due diligence for minerals such as tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (3TG), among others.
