Michigan SBDC

The Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a statewide network that enhances Michigan's economic well-being by providing no-cost consulting, training, market research, and technology commercialization services to new ventures, existing small businesses, and advanced technology companies. It is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), and local host institutions. The SBDC's state headquarters is hosted by Grand Valley State University. While it does not typically provide direct funding, it assists businesses in preparing to secure capital and administers certain state funds like the Business Accelerator Fund and the Emerging Technology Fund.
