The Medical Research Commercialisation Fund (MRCF), renamed Brandon BioCatalyst in March 2022, is Australia and New Zealand's largest life science investment collaboration. Established in 2007 and managed by Brandon Capital Partners, it is a venture capital fund that invests in early-stage medical research from its member institutes to support commercialisation. The fund is a unique collaboration between major Australian superannuation funds, the Australian and New Zealand governments, Australian state governments, and over 50 leading medical research institutes and hospitals. It focuses on investing in new therapeutics, medical devices, and diagnostics.
