Oxford Angel Fund
Overview
The Oxford Angel Fund is an early-stage venture capital fund that invests in companies founded by Oxford University alumni. Founded in 2016, the fund initially started as a $500K experimental fund. It has since launched multiple funds, including Fund II (first close in 2020) and Fund III (first close in 2024). As of July 2024, the fund has rebranded to Oxonian Ventures to reflect its investment focus on pre-seed, seed, and Series A rounds. The fund collaborates closely with the Oxford Entrepreneurs Network for deal flow and due diligence. It invests primarily in US-based companies across a wide range of industries, including BioTech, FinTech, AI, and HealthTech.
