Yield Guild Games (YGG) is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) and gaming guild that invests in non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and other digital assets used in virtual worlds and blockchain-based games. Its mission is to onboard millions of players into the "play-to-earn" (P2E) economy. YGG operates by acquiring and managing a portfolio of gaming NFTs and lending them to its community members, known as "scholars," through a revenue-sharing model. This allows players to access P2E games without upfront costs. The organization functions as a "guild of guilds," with multiple SubDAOs focused on specific games or geographical regions.
